I wrote the nice people at ConAgra Foods an email about the Hunts Chili Sauce.
(I know your thinking geeez this girl loves that Chili Sauce!
I'm not crazy -I just wanted to know if it would be discontinued!)
They sent me a nice email:

As consumers' preferences for products change, so do the varieties of our products. Only the products with the greatest consumer appeal remain on the store shelves over time. Unfortunately, the chili sauce did not have enough consumer interest for us to continue manufacturing it. We invite you to try some of our other products, such as Chef Boyardee, Orville Redenbacher's, Healthy Choice and many more.
We will also be sending you a coupon via regular mail that is valid for nine months. Please allow 1-2 weeks for receipt.

You are serious about some Chilli sauce! I love a mission. I will search and buy every can I see. It is my sisterly duty.
I know....I thought maybe three posts in a row was a little much, BUT I found out! Thank you for your support in hoarding! :)

I almost panicked at Kroger last night because all the organic food was on sale. Travis had the same thought as me and said, "do you think they are trying to get rid of all of it?". One of the managers said they are trying to get consumers to buy it so that they can show it is selling and get more organic inventory. Such a relief. I'll definitely try to join in the Chili Mission :)
