Beauty Secrets

Kelly's Korner Blog creates "Show us Your Life" Blog posts, this past Friday's was Beauty Secrets.
I didn't link up to the post, but thought it would be fun to show you my favorite beauty products.

beauty secrets:
I've listed some of my favorite beauty products, most of which you can find in local drugstores.
These products aren't secrets, but it may take the guess work out of your next trip to the beauty isles!

1. Makeup: Full & Soft Mascara by Maybelline. I've been using this mascara since high school and LOVE IT!
(Funny side note...when I was little I thought the Maybelline commericals said,
"Maybe she's born with it, or maybe it's Make-believe." ! haha)

 2. Moisturizers: I use two different moisturizers, one for warm months and one for winter. The lighter moisturizer I use was prescribed to me by a dermatologist. Purposes' Redness Reducing Moisturizer.
I can usually find the original Purpose Moisturizer at Walgreens, but I can only find this one at Target!
My skin gets really dry in the winter months, so I use a heavier moisturizer. I used to use Clinique's dramatically different moisturizing lotion, but that wasn't even cutting it this winter! So I went to a local drugstore and lucked up buying Olay's Active Hydrating Moisturizer! I love that it softens my skin instantly, but it does smell slightly like a baby product. I don't mind the smell because it helps my dry skin so much!

3. Face Wash: I use Cetaphil Facial Cleanser in the pump. I've also used Purpose brand face wash which works equally as well. I also use Neutragena's Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover. It works well for everyday removal of eye makeup.

4. Hair: Pantene Restore Beautiful Lengths Conditioner (Breakage Defense) This conditioner is great! I have very...very fine straight hair and this doesn't seem to weigh my hair down! I use it sparingly, because little conditioner goes a long way. Oh and you can usually find good coupons for Pantene products, too!

5. Body (Tan in a bottle): My sister got me into this AWESOME product! Quick Tan by Body Drench. The tan looks real! You do need to use caution about WHERE you "tan" yourself. I usually use a tub/shower stall. Beware...you will need to clean it afterwards! But it looks great and is totally worth cleaning your tub because you won't be harming your skin in the long run! : )

I hope you find some of these products useful!
